Carol Service: St Andrew's Parish Church
Our Autumn Term ended with all boys in Years 7, 8 and 9  attending our annual school Carol Service at St Andrew's Parish Church. The service took the form of a traditional 'Nine Lessons and Carols'.

Musical performances were superb. Choir pieces included: 'Gaudete!' (Piae Cantiones, 1852), 'Jesus Was Born in A Stable' (Chesters), 'Sussex Carol' and 'Lord, You Were Rich Beyond All Splendour'.

The readings were led by pupils from each year group: Sam Walters and Kieron Ivers (Year 7), Jonathan Greenall and Christopher Crowley (Year  8), Calum Redhead and Nick Harvey (Year 9), Ben Langton and Liam Smith (Year 10), Tom Maynard and Michael Cearns (Year 11) and Matthew Eccles (Deputy Head Boy) and Robert Woodward (Head Boy). Further readings were given by Governors Mr C Cooper  and Mrs J Kemp and Headteacher Mr D Hazeldine.

A repeat of the service took place in the evening and this was open to parents, families and the wider community.
