Maths (KS4):
The course we will be following is the Edexcel linear Specification A.
Sets 5&6 will study the Intermediate Tier Specification and Sets 1, 2, 3 and 4 will study the Higher Tier.
Grades E to B are available at Intermediate Tier, and grades C to A* at the Higher Tier.
Sets 2 to 6 will follow the schedule outlined below:
May of Year 10 - Ma1 Task
Oct of Year 11 - Ma4 Data Handling project
June of Year 11-Terminal Exams
Set 1 will complete their GCSE studies by the end of year 10. In year 11, they will study the MEI Foundations of Advanced Mathematics and Pure Mathematics P1 Module.
