80 boys and 8 members of staff enjoyed, among other things, a tour of the American War Cemetery at Omaha beach, a look at the Bayeux Tapestry, a visit to Arromanches to learn about the D-Day landings and the construction of the Mulberry Harbours, a hike to the top of Mont St Michel, an underwater journey at La Cite de la Mer and a windswept excursion around the port of Cherbourg.
