Parents Association
The Parents Association (or 'PA' as it is more popularly known) provides a vital framework of support for the school across a wide spectrum of activities. Whilst most of the energies of the PA are directed towards fund raising, the members of the PA also help out at school social events.

Since its inception in 1960 at the insitgation of the then Headmaster Mr B H Taylor, the PA has grown from strength to strength. Events such as the Christmas Fair, remain a major fund raising event to this day. The first ever Christmas fair held in 1962 raised three hundred and fifty eight pounds and last years fair raised in the region of six thousand pounds, helping to highlight the importance of this event.Other activities include the summer fair, bulb sale and Murder Mystery Evening..........but what is the money spent on?

The money raised by the PA has been used, for example, to purchase a school mini-bus, contribute towards local, national and even international expeditions, to buy books for the school library and a variety of other resources, which have all been used to enhance the boys education .

The PA meets monthly to organise activities to raise funds to support all the boys at our school. If any parent would like to become involved, then please feel free to come to our next meeting (see schedule). If you would prefer to help at events rather than attend meetings, then please send your name and contact details to the school office, and the office will contact our Chairperson Mr Peter Reeve.

It is a great way to become involved in your son's school.
