The PSE programme throughout years 7-11 serves to supplement the traditional academic curriculum by ensuring that pupils are properly prepared to face the difficult issues and choices that will inevitably impinge on them from wider society.
These issues include:
Health Education; Citizenship; Crime; Drugs; Sex Education; Bullying; Economic Awareness; Racism; Environmental Awareness; Careers
Personal and social education seeks to address these needs by providing the opportunities and experiences which allow each pupil to gain knowledge and develop skills and attitudes that will help their personal development and fulfilment, and prepare them to become reponsible, caring and informed members of society.
