Religious Studies (KS3):
The year 7 course aims to impart a knowledge of the events in the life and teaching of Jesus, and to discover the origins of Christianity. Topics to be studied are:
The Early Life of Jesus
Call of the Disciples
Parables of Jesus
Miracles of Jesus
Holy Week
Crucifixion and Resurrection
The Church
Members of the Church
Church Ceremonies
The year 8 course concentrates on religious symbolism.
In year 9, the pupils concentrate on the beliefs and practices of the religions of:
1. Islam
2.Judaism
3. Sikhism
4. Buddhism
