Enterprise Education consists of enterprise capability supported by better financial capability and economic and business understanding.Young people need opportunities to be enterprising through applying their knowledge, skills and attributes in order to "make their mark".

Students working at Key Stage 4 now have entitlement to five days of Enterprise Education. During this time we try to provide opportunities for our students to display their enterprising qualities. We achieve this through planned activities and events and, where possible, we try to create an enterprising learning environment in all our classes where students are encouraged to take the initiative, engage in real issues and develop valuable skills for both higher education and employment.

Ofsted has suggested that students are motivated by enterprise learning and that they enjoy being given the autonomy to tackle real problems, take responsibility for their actions and evaluate the outcome of decisions. Here at Wirral Grammar School for Boys we present opportunities that can challenge all students and, some of the business & enterprise activities that students have been involved in can be found using the links to the right of the page.
