Young Enterprise

With more than 40 years' experience, Young Enterprise is the UK's leading business and enterprise education charity.

Our Young Enterprise team is composed of eight people, all of whom occupy different roles in the company (Finance Manager, Operations Manager, Head of Marketing etc). The roles are decided by a vote-I was voted Managing Director. As with any business, those that don't put the effort in can be replaced, which can sometimes be a very useful threat, if not action.

We chose to call our company (UN)Ltd, pronounced 'unlimited'. After great discussion we decided on two main products - Wirral Grammar Pendrives and TopTeachers (Top Trumps cards for teachers ). At the moment our main venture is the Wirral Grammar Pendrives initiative, however the TopTeachers Trump cards also proved popular with the students.

So far I have thoroughly enjoyed undertaking the Young Enterprise initiative. I have found it stimulating, demanding, yet good fun. It is a great opportunity to pick up and develop skills that are invaluable for later life.
