Science Olympics Success

On Saturday 31st January 3 Year 10 boys ( Chris Hatter, Nick Harvey & Kieran Cook ) took part in a fun-packed day of science based activities at the University of Liverpool Physics department. This annual event is a collaboration between Aim Higher Greater Merseyside and Liverpool University, and is designed to raise aspirations and encourage interest in science in young people. The boys along with their teacher Miss Clements took part in a range of activities and teams were awarded points depending on how successful they were. At the end of the day when the points were added up the boys from WGSB finished top which means they will now be invited to take part in a final event later on this year......well done boys!
