School News & FeaturesYear 9 Anglesey Trip a Huge Success!Posted on: 18.05.2010 Recently, over 100 Year 9 boys returned tired, yet full of the joys of Enterprise following a weekend at the Conway Centre, Anglesey, where they took part in a range of activities that tested their communication skills, teamwork, leadership potential and raft-building prowess! Working in teams, boys had to solve outdoor enterprise challenges, climb 60 feet to take the 'Leap of Faith', negotiate sea caves whilst sea-level traversing, scramble up (and down!) snowy peaks, bid for items with which to construct an unsinkable raft and the most difficult task of all........make sure that their rooms remained clean and tidy at all times! A great couple of days was had by all and the current Year 8 boys eagerly await their trip to Wales at the same time next year! Mr Money (Head of Year 9) |
