Parents Association (PA)

As already highlighted in the school prospectus, we have a flourishing Parents' Association (PA). Funds raised are invaluable in providing extra resources and opportunities for our boys. Mini-buses, ICT equipment and music resources are just some of the ways in which PA funds have been utilised. The PA is also a valuable forum for parents and teachers to meet informally.

The PA was started in 1960 and each year has grown from strength to strength. Events such as the Christmas Fair, remain a major fund raising event to this day. The first ever Christmas Fair held in 1962 raised three hundred and fifty eight pounds and last years fair raised in the region of six thousand pounds!

We also operate a 100 club, which is drawn on a monthly basis. Prize winners are announced in the School Nuntius publication.

The PA meets monthly to organise activities to raise funds to support all the boys at our school. If any parent would like to become involved, then please feel free to come to our next meeting (see schedule to the left of this page). You don't have to be available for all meetings. Just attend as and when you can. If you would prefer to help at events rather than attend meetings, then please send your name and contact details to the school office, and the office will contact our Chairperson Mr David Elliott.

It's a great way to become involved in your son's school!
