Dear Parents and Carers,
You might have noticed that in our 90th year we have made a few small alterations to the school crest. Much of this has been to bring it closer to its original design, but with an eye to the future.
Subsequently, we have changed some of the signage around the school site and letterheads. The next stage of this will see planned changes to the uniform and PE kit for years 7 to 11 from September 2022. These changes will be made to ensure our uniform remains affordable, keeps branded items to a minimum and is of good quality meaning it will last for several years.
We will also seek to maintain a stock of pre-loved items as this is often the most cost-effective method of keeping a large family, some of whom outgrow clothes at a ridiculously fast rate in uniform.
Full Uniform List :-
| · A WGSB blazer with blue trimmings on pockets and a school badge.
· Plain white shirt · Black Shoes (no trainers/boots) · Dark grey or black socks |
· Charcoal grey trousers
· Plain black v-neck pullover (optional) · House Tie (must be colour of House assigned to your son).

Sports Kit :-
For Games/PE lessons, a reversible House shirt, navy blue shorts, navy blue socks with royal blue stripes and appropriate footwear – football/rugby boots (fitted with correct safety studs), outdoor training shoes and indoor/clean training shoes.
