Students at Wirral Grammar School for Boys (WGSB6) are celebrating some fantastic results today.

Head of Sixth Form, Lorna Ahern said “This group of students who were experiencing full external examinations for the first time since Year 6, have attained remarkable results across all subjects. These results are particularly impressive given the challenges that this cohort have faced over the past 3 years”. She added “These results will let the students take the next successful steps in their education or employment futures”.

As students look forward to studies at university, beginning apprenticeships or starting employment across this country and further afield, Headteacher Simon Ascroft added “The endeavours of the students, the encouragement and support provided for them by our dedicated staff as well as their families has all contributed to these superb achievements. Congratulations to everyone!”.
